  Located in downtown Reedsburg, in a typical small town row house of businesses, sits Calabria’s. It appears to have been here awhile based on the worn out canopy and the sun cracked sign on the front window. Then, once inside I was reaffirmed this place has been there awhile. The décor is the usual cheesy Italian theme with the” Mangia Mangia” sign, the Godfather music, and the plastic grape vines collecting dust above your head. Booth seats being held together by duct tape and the dirty wood floors screaming out “someone please clean and refinish me”.
  
  Our waitress was nice and friendly but the service was pure amateur hour. Please when you bring a beer with a glass just pour the beer into the glass and remove the bottle…don’t leave it sitting there for my whole meal. Also, may I please have a couple of plates for our appetizer so we don’t have to use napkins for plates? The dessert menus looked so old and nasty. How could they even think that would entice anyone to order dessert?
  
  So you thought I was going to continue this bash fest, but no. The food is really good, what a dichotomy this joint is. My daughter had Chicken Soup that was really good. We had garlic knots, but I cannot comment on appetizers from the freezer. My wife and I ordered a large pizza. We had peperoni on the whole pizza with one half sausage and the other half green olives. The crust was decent. The sauce was surprisingly not sweet (that means I liked it). The toppings were generous and of a good quality. The entirety of the ingredients made for the best pizza I have reviewed to this point. I am really tough on pizza joints but this one I liked a lot!

  I like the food here. I dislike the dining area and the service. If the owner(s) would break open their wallets and do some work in what is a small dining area and get their servers properly trained the place would be fantastic. However, until then I can only recommend them for Take Out.
  
  UPDATE: They have remodeled the interior beautifully!

  The best Italian food I have ever eating in Wisconsin, the service is excellent , The food made feel I am back in my home town in Sicily and the music playing in back round is an amazing choice. Thank you Calabria.
